DAX Syntax to fix

Experts, someone pls help me to fix the below DAX which is erroring out.     Thanks, Bala

Thanks Amit for your quick response, Not able to the .pbix file for your reference. Please help me to fix the same with Syntax in the below for creating the column.

 

x Match - dp = IF((SEARCH("pass", Query1[Complaint Notes],,0)>0) ||
SEARCH("dp", Query1[Complaint Notes],,0)>0 ||
Query1[Complaint Amount]=75.12 &&
SEARCH("sdp", Query1[Complaint Notes],,0)=0, "dp", BLANK())

Anonymous try this one sec:

x Match - dp = IF((SEARCH("pass", Query1[Complaint Notes],,0)>0) ||
SEARCH("dp", Query1[Complaint Notes],,0)>0 ||
Query1[Complaint Amount]=75.12 &&
SEARCH("sdp", Query1[Complaint Notes],,0)=0, "dp", "")

    Thanks for your quick reply, Tried creating the same in new column but still it trows the error. pls help.

    Should I create the column or Measure, If Measure How I can convert the text column it will consider?

      Hi Anonymous ,

       

      The formula should be a calculated column and there should be no problem with the formula itself.

       

      Please check these two columns for empty strings (""), you can replace and delete these values in Power Query.

      Or you can check them and then execute the formula:

      x Match - dp1 = 
IF (
    (
        NOT (
            'Query1'[Complaint Notes] = BLANK ()
                || 'Query1'[Complaint Notes] = ""
        )
    )
        && ( SEARCH ( "pass", Query1[Complaint Notes],, 0 ) > 0 )
        || SEARCH ( "dp", Query1[Complaint Notes],, 0 ) > 0
        || Query1[Complaint Amount] = 75.12
            && SEARCH ( "sdp", Query1[Complaint Notes],, 0 ) = 0,
    "dp",
    BLANK()
)
