4 years agoDAX Sum based on another filter table
How do I create a dax formula that displays the correct value for each row&Column rather than summarising the grand total.
This is the fomula I attempted but it just sums up the Total rather than displaying the value for each RU
Column = IF(GAAP[Column1]="IFRS",CALCULATE(SUM(Grace_TEST_PBI[Values])) ,CALCULATE(SUM('Grace_TEST_PBI'[Values - IFRS17])))
- Thanks I managed to find a workaround by using Switch. Thanks for your help.Measure 3 = SwITCH(SELECTEDVALUE(GAAP[GAAP]),"IFRS", [meas],"IFRS17",[Measure 2])

Hello, thanks for responding. No there is no relationship between the tables

I just manually created that table to act as filter. So if someone selects 'IFRS' it will display the data based on the IFRS Value column, and if someone selected IFRSN it will show values in the IFRSN Values column

Super User
Those years on the columns are from the Grace_TEST_PBI table?
Can you share a sample of your tables here? [after removing sensitive data]
Appreciate your Kudos!!
