Dax Studio - cannot change connection

I have just installed DAX Studio and connected to a Power BI Desktop. I wish to use a DIFFERENT power BI project but DAX Studio does not seem to allow changeing the connection. I have tried closein...

    The DAX Studio connection is intended to connect to OPEN Power BI Desktop projects. 

    Close Dax Studio.

    Close any open PBI projects.

    Open the PBI project you want to connet to.

    Launch Dax Studio.

    Connect to the project listed in the connect dialog.

    You can validate that Dax Studio is connecting to the project you want by changing the name of the project and re-connecting from Dax Studio.

Close any open PBI projects.

Open the PBI project you want to connet to.

Launch Dax Studio.

Connect to the project listed in the connect dialog.

You can validate that Dax Studio is connecting to the project you want by changing the name of the project and re-connecting from Dax Studio.
