Dax -new column

Hello World,

I want to create a new column called Bank Draft Vs Card. If After Mode's (Reversal, Special Reversal, Problem) [3 CATEGORY] Prior mode is (Amex,Visa,Discover,MasterCard) then its card or else its Bank draft.

    Hi Anonymous ,

     

    You can try this code to create a calculated column.

    NewColumn =
IF (
    AND (
        'TableName'[AfterMode] IN { "Reversal", "Special Reversal", "Problem" },
        'TableName'[PriorMode] IN { "Amex", "Visa", "Discover", "MasterCard" }
    ),
    "Card",
    "Bank Draft"
)

    can you aslo provide the expected result? language alone sometimes is not tightly logical.
