DateAdd not working
Hi
I am using the dateadd function to try and add 56 days to a date and it is working for some of the dates but not for others - i cant figure out why ?
Try this
Column ='Table'[Won Date]+56
Note: DATEADD() returns a table that contains a column of dates. The result table includes only dates that exist in the dates column.

Was working on a project and came across this issue myself. Ended up on this thread.
The solution:Column ='Table'[Won Date]+56
I assume this will add 56 days to the date. I want to add one year to the date. How do I do that? Also, I am adding 1 year so I don't think there is a chance that the result date I am getting is something that does not exist. For example, 20/09/21 is the date I have and after adding one year I am should be getting 20/09/22 but the result column is empty. I am not sure but I think the empty columns are only for the ones where the date is with the year 2021. All the 2020s are fine.

Thanks nandukrishnavs
Simple as that really.
Can you please explain what you mean " DATEADD() returns a table that contains a column of dates. The result table includes only dates that exist in the dates column " ?
I am right in saying that if i add 56 days to a date and it comes back to say 31 Nov 2020 - as 31 Nov 2020 doesnt exist then i get a blank?
trying to understand where i went wrong and why i would ever use dateadd function

You are correct.
