creating blank future dates
So I have a measure, thats taking a running total of the values for this fiscal year, however i need the future dates to be blank.. can anyone see what ive done wrong in my dax or have any advice for...

Can you please try the following
instead of:
_seldate =SELECTEDVALUE(DimDate[Date])
please use
_seldate =MAX(DimDate[Date])
or
_seldate =MIN(DimDate[Date])
I assume that you Date table is on daily base and when you use SELECTEDVALUE as well as filter by month then the result of SELECTEDVALUE will be blank any time since there is more then one value behind a month.
