Count Submitted Report - DAX Code

Hello team,

Please assist in resolving this matter, I have three tables

  • dimCalendar 
  • dimHotel (Hotel Name, Hotel ID, Hotel Manager)
  • FactTable

I need to know how many hotels submitted their report from the Date Received Column of the Fact Table during the past 5 days of the reporting period (the reporting period is Monthly). Later I will need to visualize by Comparing those submitted in the previous week vs this week

    According to the data you provided, I'm so confused about this 

    during the past 5 days of the reporting period (the reporting period is Monthly)

    Can you provide some expected results based on the data you provide?

      Hello V,

      As you asked for clarifications kindly use the link below will direct you to the ongoing conversions of the same with the attached file and more information. 

       

      However, the clarity is ..... my client need to capture reports received within 5 days of This week against the same for the previous week. It is like this week vs the previous week but the only difference is it should capture only reports submitted within 5 days and it should be filtered by Reporting period. Example: Within this reporting Month (March) This week 50 reports were received vs 40 received last week
