Convert Text to Data

Hi,

A simple query but one which I can see already on site.

I need to convert True / False text column to number (i.e. True = 1, False = 0)

I know there should be a simple DAX for it but can't locate it.

 

Also, i presume the Transform data option doesnt cross from Text to Numeric and needs to stay the same for conversion? (i.e. Text to Text)

    Hi Anonymous 

     

    Create a new column:
    Columnnew= IF(Table[Columnold]= "True", 1,0)
