Column value from date row
Hi
Could you help
I would like to calculate a measure to show the value (price) in a column for todays date minus the value on 8/1/2024.
Can you show to create a measure of this.
Table: 1
| Date | Price | Item |
| 31/12/2023 | 5.33 | Hat |
| 08/01/2024 | 7.10 | Coat |
| 10/07/2024 | 11.30 | Show |
Thanks

Hi Anonymous ,
Based on my testing, please try the following methods:
1.Create the sample table.
2.Create the new measure to calculate the value.
Price minus = var _today = TODAY() VAR TargetDate = DATE(2024,1,8) var _toprice = CALCULATE(SUM('Table'[Price]), 'Table'[Date] = _today) var _tarprice = CALCULATE(SUM('Table'[Price]), 'Table'[Date] = TargetDate) RETURN _toprice - _tarprice3.Drag the measure into the card visual. The result is shown below.
