Gender differences
You are given 7 screens to explore gender differences and can answer questions: observing gender differences when choosing your favorite drink or music, biological signs of gender difference, gender differences in different areas and differences through posts on Twitter.
This dashboard is based on real data and made as part of the curriculum.
Made by a student of St. Petersburg State Technological University, Faculty of Economics and Management, direction "Business Informatics" Kosolapova Marina.
In the analysis, we came to different results on gender differences:
- Based on this study, there were significant differences in the appearance of males and females.
- The most popular carbonated drink among both sexes is Coca-Cola. The most popular music among men is rock, and among women pop. Also, among the male gender, the jazz / blues genre is not in demand, but among the female hip-hop.
- We can observe that women prefer the sphere of arts and humanities, as well as education. Most men choose business, science, and technology.
- According to such indicators as the harmfulness of the information displayed in the twitter post, the fairness of the author, the purity of speech, the female gender was highly rated. However, the male sex is more competent in Twitter posts.
The analysis can draw a certain conclusion:
Men and women are different creatures, however, based on this study, we can say that significant differences between us are observed only in appearance.
When you look at these comparative data on gender differences, what general conclusion do you draw from them? The topic of gender differences is very interesting and always relevant, but over time, you can see how the boundaries between the sexes are blurred and how a man and a woman become very similar to each other. Despite this, gender differences in appearance remain always as significant.
