Electric Utility Performance Dashboard
The Electric Utility Performance Dashboard is a multi-page Power BI solution designed to provide a high-level and spatial view of municipal energy usage and cost allocation. All data presented in this dashboard is simulated for demonstration and portfolio purposes.
The Overview page delivers an executive summary of key performance indicators, including total billed amount, total kWh consumption, and average cost per kWh. Users can quickly assess trends through a monthly spend visualization and identify cost distribution across departments. Interactive features include a filter panel, a reset-to-default view button, and dynamic navigation elements that allow users to seamlessly transition between pages.
The Location page provides a geographic perspective using Azure Maps, enabling users to visualize energy cost concentration across service locations. Users can drill down into specific areas, explore hotspots, and analyze spending patterns spatially. A search functionality allows users to locate and filter data by account numbers for targeted analysis.
This dashboard emphasizes usability and interactivity, offering:
