How to resolve inability to create new Data Activator items

On Nov 11, if your tenant is using Data Activator (preview) but does not have Fabric enabled, you will no longer be able to create new Activator items. To keep using Data Activator and creating new Activator items, enable Fabric for your tenant.

 

To enable Fabric, go to the admin portal and make sure that users are allowed to create Fabric items.

 

Please note that if you have delegated settings to other admins, you should also allow capacity admins to enable/disable.

    Thanks but no thanks 😋!!
    I wish there is more control available for tenant admins to restrict what items get enabled with Fabric rather than enabling everything for no reason.

    Thx for the spam. "Enable Fabric in your tenant ", suddenly for no good reason in my tenant settings, is what ticks me off. Remove that part and it would not be an evil sales tactic.

    Looks like Data Activator isn’t allowing new items because Fabric isn’t enabled. Please check your admin portal, enable Fabric, and ensure all user permissions (including those for capacity admins) are set correctly.
