Event trigger based on power bi report every 12 hours
Hi everyone,
I am still very new to Activator and try to build our first business alerts based on a Power BI Report.
I have set up a rule in this was:
My expectation was to get an alert every 12 hours if the condition is met. However, in reality, I get an alert every hour.
Which brings me to the following questions:
- According to the live feed, a data point is created once an hour. Where does this interval come from? I can't figure out where I might have configured that. Ideally, I would like to change this interval to "every 12 hourse" and then just trigger whenever the condition is met.
- If for some reason this is not possible, what is the best way to only trigger an event every 12 hours?
I figured it out myself now.
There is a "manage source" tab under the Events properties page, where there a "run query every" option. This was on "1 hour" per default.
