Change condition is missing and Event not refreshing wrt Semantic Model

Previously there was an option to detect new arrival of data (New Data Arrives) in Semantic Model using Power BI report.

Newly introduced Reflex in Activator doesn't have the same condition, instead

 

Q. Is there an alternate way to apply same condition "Change (New Data Arrives)" which can detect any change in Semantic Model?

Q. In new Reflex, event is not refreshing wrt Semantic model, it keep maintaining the initally captured values while creation of alert. Is there any way to refresh the event wrt Semantic Model/a particular table in Lakehouse/SQL endpoint?

      Hi Anonymous,

       

      - I am already using Heartbeat (On every value), but if the event is not updating, heartbeat will not see any change

      - Also, the auto-refresh is turned on, tested on different alerts, not working.

        Hi rabbisht ,

         

        I think this might be the design behavior of a version update. 

        You can submit an idea for it at Home (microsoft.com) and wait for users with the same needs as you to vote for you to help make it happen as soon as possible.

         

        For lakehouse, you can try to connect to lakehouse with direct query on PBI Desktop and then set up automatic page refresh to set up alerts after creating the report. Then observe again on the Data Activator.
