Why does the Emissions Impact Dashboard stay on sample data after setup?

I followed the instructions in the article:
Connect to the Emissions Impact Dashboard for Azure - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
I installed the Emissions Impact Dashboard for Azure and, as described in the steps, I entered the billing account ID from Connect your data.
My account has already been assigned the Billing Account Owner role.
However, my Azure environment is a free trial, not an Enterprise Agreement subscription.
After that, the “Connect your data” button disappeared, which made it look like the connection succeeded. But the dashboard content still only shows the sample data.
The documentation says:
"Wait for the view to build, which can take up to 24 hours. Refresh the dataset after 24 hours."
I waited more than one day, but nothing has changed.
Additionally, this might not be related, but when I go to the Manage data tab and click Delete data > Confirm, I get redirected to the page shown in the third screenshot.
Why am I unable to see my own Azure emissions data in the dashboard?
What could be the issue? (Could it be because my environment is a free trial, not an Enterprise Agreement?)
If anyone knows the cause or any workaround, I would greatly appreciate your advice.

Most likely, your free trial Azure subscription does not provide the required billing API access, which is why the dashboard shows sample data.
- Some dashboards, including the Emissions Impact Dashboard, are designed for Enterprise Agreement (EA) subscriptions.
- Free trial subscriptions often cannot access the full billing data, which is why sample data remains.

Hi,Thank you very much! Your advice has been really helpful.
I upgraded from the free trial, so I believe my account is now under an MCA. As the documentation states, I think I now meet the billing account requirements.
However, the dashboard still only shows the sample data. Just in case, I reinstalled the Emissions Impact Dashboard in a new workspace and waited, but it continues to display only sample data.
If you know anything further about this situation, I would greatly appreciate your insights.
