Seeking Advice on Chart Selection for Rolling Total Visualization

Hello everyone, I’ve successfully calculated the rolling total of layoffs from the overall total layoffs data. Now, I’m facing a dilemma on which type of chart would best represent this information....

    The Rolling Total may not tell a compelling story.  Seasonal comparisons may make more sense

     

    You can add a trend line but the forecast fails
