REMOVE/SELECT ALL VISUAL INTERACTION WITH ONE BUTTON! PT/US
US
Hello everyone, everthing right?
Would be amazing if exists a button where we can remove all interaction of wish slicer; filter and another things.
Because, removing one by one interaction in a giant dashboard is soo massive, this suggestion will be save a great
time in workflow, i really believe!
I create a prototype of this suggestion below.
I hope that this feature will be implemented in the near future.
PT

Hi
What’s available todayThere isn’t a built-in “disable all interactions” button for existing visuals on a page. You still have to use Format › Edit interactions per source visual. Microsoft’s docs cover the per-visual workflow, but not a bulk toggle.
Practical workarounds
-
Default new visuals to no interaction
In Desktop: File › Options and settings › Options › Current file › Query reduction › “Enable disabling cross highlighting/filtering by default.”
This prevents new visuals from interacting so you don’t have to switch them off later. (Helpful going forward; won’t change existing visuals.) Microsoft Fabric Community+1 -
Keep default behavior but change its type (if that helps)
You can set the default interaction to cross-filter instead of cross-highlight in Report settings, which can reduce the tedium but still isn’t an on/off master switch. Stack OverflowEdge case hacks
For a single “static” page, some folks drop a transparent rectangle over parts of the canvas to block clicks; crude but effective in a pinch.Vote for a true bulk toggle
There are active Ideas asking for exactly your button (bulk disable per visual/page). Adding your vote/comments helps prioritize it:
-
“Disable All Edit Interactions on a Specific Visual” (Idea) Microsoft Fabric Community
-
“Option to remove all interaction of a visual” (older Idea thread) Microsoft Fabric Community
-
“Button: Reset Interaction (ALL)” (Idea) Microsoft Fabric Community
Bottom line: no single-click “remove all interactions” yet; best current path is to turn off interactions by default for new visuals and upvote the Ideas above so we can get that button added. If you want, I can share a quick checklist to retrofit a large report with minimal clicks.
