Gantt Chart Microsoft - some of the projects don't display dropdown tasks

Some of the projects don't have the expanded dropdown tasks. The parents colum is automatically populated from another table and we checked that the top phase has the same name with the parent of the remaining tasks.

Has anyone have similar experience, kindly advise.
