Formatting pane: double up/down arrows with slider slicer

Hello,    I am seeing two sets of arrows to increment/decrement my slider value.   This is my settings.ts (the other types of slices are all working fine).   This is my capabilities...

Hi VizDataLtd,

 

I've never seen that before, and I'm pretty sure that Power BI shouldn't render that. I can't seem to replicate it either.

 

Just to rule out the developer visual, how does the control look when you package the visual and try it in Desktop? How about in the Service? If Desktop is OK and the Service isn't, could it be something specific to your browser? Do you have any plugins enabled that might 'enrich' form elements?

    Hi Daniel,

     

    Thanks so much for your reply. The control works better in Edge and Chrome once packaged and loaded into Power BI Service (although there is still a "bleed" of the white, which looks wrong).

     

     

    It still shows wrongly in Firefox:

     

     

    One problem is that my developer visual will only display the Visual sub-tab of the Format Visual tab in Firefox: in Edge and Chrome, I can only see the General tab. The developer console shows CORS errors in Edge and Chrome, which are not fixed by the http://localhost:8080/assets/status trick. I presume this is related, although the visual does render itself. It's just the formatting pane that's missing.

     

    Buying a new laptop might prove to be a mistake. There's quite an uphill battle getting the developer environment working.
