Filter by a selected value's related attribute

This feels like it should be very simple but I am struggling to manage this in PowerBI! I have created a very simple (inaccurate!) dataset below to illustrate what I am trying to achieve.

Say I have a dataset of:

CountryContinentLanguageCurrencyPopulation
FranceEuropeFrenchEuro10,000
SpainEuropeSpanishEuro20,000
United KingdomEuropeEnglishPound Sterling30,000
USANorth AmericaEnglishUS Dollar40,000
BrazilSouth AmericaPortugeseReal50,000
PortugalEuropePortugeseEuro60,000

I want to have a front page with a text slicer, where the user is able to select one country. I then want a series of population charts on subsequent pages, broken down by the columns, filtered by the selected country's attribute for that column. In practice, if I select France on the front page, I want a chart on the next page showing population for all countries in Europe, then a chart on the next page showing the population for all French-speaking countries, then next page for all countries with the Euro, and so on...

Is there a simple way to be able to select a value on the front page, then carry that through the report but looking at that value's related values?

Thanks in advance!
