Using a standard date table to avoid Auto Date/Time for shared Fabric Semantic Models
How can one use an explicit enterprise Date table and to avoid Auto date/time in shared semantic models within Microsoft Fabric, without requiring developers to manually disable the Auto date/time feature in Power BI Desktop? The goal is to reduce unnecessary date/time tables and semantic model size while ensuring all date-related filtering and time intelligence use the central enterprise Date table. Is there a supported way to enforce or automate this configuration?

Hi. There is no way to force from the organization to disable that option for all users in your tenant. The way to go is with a data good practice culture at the company. Teaching them what is it to prevent. You could also work with repos and check if that was created when they pull request for deploy. If it has it, fail and prevent that at a workspace.
As an alternative you can give them a script for date table or a pbix file empty with the setting disabled and a date table created. You can tell them each time they want to start from scratch, they should use that file instead of opening desktop and click new.
