Usage Across Multiple Capacities
Scenario: Lakehouse is stored in a workspace on capacity 1 and a semantic model with Direct Lake connection to the Lakehouse resides in a workspace on capacity 2. How are these two related?
1. If capacity 1 throttles/spikes, how does that affect capacity 2?
2. Which capacity takes the interaction usage on reports live connected to the semantic model?
3. Is it bad practice to cross capacities like this?
Any insights would be very helpful here. Thanks!

3. it depends. If the capacities are in the same cluster then the performance impact is minimal. If they are in different geo clusters then yes, that is bad practice.

For #2 - by "originating" do you mean capacity 1 or 2 in the example?
