Updates to Published Report subscription
We have a premium capacity workspace. Let's call it UAT for this example. UAT has multiple reports within it. Each report has a subscription so this report gets emailed out to the business.
There are several user's besides myself who all have premium per user licenses in Fabric. Each user has the same UAT workspace permissions as myself.
Let's say, a coworker gets a ticket to add/remove users from a report subscription they did not create? I read that a user cannot see nor edit a subscription they did not create.
What would be the best solution or workaround for this?
Hi bw_81,
In Power BI / Fabric, report subscriptions are owned by the user who creates them. One possible workaround is to use a service account with access to the workspace to create and manage all subscriptions, but this introduces security concerns because the password must be shared and rotated regularly.
An alternative is to use Power Automate to send notifications, which can be managed collaboratively by anyone the flow is shared with.
A final option is to move away from centrally managed notifications altogether. Instead, users should adapt to actively consuming insights through Power BI apps, alerts, and dashboards, where information is always up to date.
Hope this helps. If so, please give kudos 👍 and mark as Accepted Solution ✔️ to help others.

Hi bw_81,
I believe workspace admins can modify all subscriptions.
Even though I have not created any subscriptions here, if I click that manage all button, I see all subscriptions
