Semantic Model Refresh - Shared tables

Hi all, suppose I have two semantic models A and B.

A model is using tables Y, Z, and X from OneLake.

B model is using tables Y, Z and W from OneLake.

Question is how refresh works.

If I refresh model A, I´m indirectly refreshing part of the B model since they share the same tables? I don´t have to refresh Y and Z for the B model since they were refreshed with the A model.

Or the refreshing works independently no matter if the tables are shared or not?

Thanks!

  • You are refreshing your semantic models from whatever is in these tables at the moment of refresh.  You are not refreshing the tables.
