Referencing Lakehouse from notebook
Hi,
I'm trying to delete records from the dbo schema in my Lakehouse, using a Notebook. I'm encountering an issue, it is like the Notebook is noticing other storage instances in my workspace and doesn't know what to use. I have a SQL database that I'm basically using as a helper, for example my metadata resides in this database. Of course, this also has a dbo schema. How do I reference the right Lakehouse in my code? I tried all kind of possible solutions, none seem to work.
Regards,
Raymond
I've found the issue I think. For some reason my SQL database has 2 semantic models, both default and with the same name. Seems like a bug to me. I created another SQL database, it has 1 semantic model. I will try if this resolves the issue.

Hello ray_codex
- While creating your notebook only, you can set your default lakehouse and also you can set your deafult lakehouse by selecting the pin icon, when you on hover the lake house it show on the right side.

- Make sure that your SQL database and lakehosue should be in same workspace.
- You don't need to depened on the reltive path, you may use full path of the lakehouse in your code of notebook.
If you need additionla info pls read the below blogs. It might helps you

The lakehouse already was the default lakehouse, so this doesn't fix the actual issue. I have no clue
IllegalArgumentException: Conflicting objects found: (ETL_helper,1e23456-e7e8-4603-b6f0-31fd32ea33ab,SemanticModel,null)To give some additional info: This ETL_helper Fabric item is a SQL database, required for cleaning column names in my source. For this reason it can have a table with the same name as a table in the lakehouse. On the other hand, it can be my misunderstanding of the phrase "Conflicting objects".
