Oracle Connection with Proxy user

Hi, is there any way to create a connection in fabric to Oracle that uses a proxy user to log in? The proxy schema itself does not have the needed permissions.

    Hello jbaz,.
Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Fabric Community Forum.

Currently, Microsoft Fabric's Oracle database connector does not support specifying a proxy user in the connection string or UI connection wizard for data pipelines, Dataflow Gen2, or other Fabric components. The supported authentication method is Basic authentication: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/fabric/data-factory/connector-oracle-database

If proxy user support is critical for your use case, consider submitting a feature request in the Microsoft Fabric Ideas portal: https://community.fabric.microsoft.com/t5/Fabric-Ideas/idb-p/fbc_ideas, With enough upvotes, the Microsoft team may prioritize this for future updates.

    Best regards,
    Ganesh Singamshetty.
