Microsoft Fabric Api :500 Internal Server Error
Hi we have annoying error on calling https://api.fabric.microsoft.com/v1/admin/items
We use service principal from C# backend
- Error 500 internal server error
- Internal Server Error e96af23a-0059-42ce-a1a1-349665e7d58b,errorCode:UnknownError,message:An error occurred while processing the operation
Same issue on postman, and others API works well (without /admin)

Thank you for reaching out in Microsoft Community Forum.
Please follow below steps to resolve the error;
1. Make sure the service principal has Tenant.Read.All and Tenant.ReadWrite.All permissions in Entra ID (Azure AD) with Admin consent granted.
2. please Grant Admin consent after assigning the permissions.
3. Use the correct scope when generating the token
https://api.fabric.microsoft.com/.defaultIf the issue persists, test with a user token to confirm whether the problem is specific to the service principal.
