Hi Need help with error in refresh
Hi Fabric Community need help with this error i am getting when refresh happens for Delta Lake i had moved from Trial capacity to F64
An error has occurred while framing the dataset <DATASET_ID_REDACTED>, error: Microsoft.AnalysisServices.OperationException: Failed to save modifications to the server. Error returned: 'The operation was cancelled because of locking conflicts. While attempting to acquire one or more locks, the transaction was canceled.'.
Locking conflicts in Fabric/Power BI occur when there are simultaneous read/write operations on the same data, aimed at ensuring data integrity. Even seemingly straightforward actions like renaming a column or toggling a feature might trigger these conflicts. When you are near capacity, even slight additional loads might cause conflicts.
To resolve this, consider simplifying your data model by removing unnecessary columns or measures, optimizing relationships and data types, splitting complex tasks into simpler ones, and ensuring your system has adequate resource.
