1 year agoFabric Doesn't Like TSV Extension?
I often give my Tab Separated Values files a TSV extension. Fabric doesn't seem to want to allow me to open the file:
Should I stop giving my Tab Separated Values files a TSV extension and instead give them a CSV extension?

Interestingly, I renamed the file mentioned above from a TSV extention to have a CSV extention. Then when I tried to load it, the Separator Input Box would not let me enter a tab character:
So now, I technically have two questions.
- The question above regarding if it's approprite to end Tab Separated Values files with a TSV extension when using MS Fabric.
- The question here were I ask how I can specifiy the tab as the separator for Tab Specified Values files.
I guess the workaround for both questions right now is to end all files with the CSV extension and use the | character to separate values. The files are comming to me in CSV format, but I guess I can use Excel to quicky convert them to "CSV" using the | as separator.
