Fabric Data Agent visualization through MCP

• Fabric Data Agent supports interactive visual responses in the native Fabric Data Agent experience.
• For external MCP clients, the rendered chart itself is currently not returned for direct rendering.
• However, Microsoft documents that the underlying visualization specification is emitted in the assistant run steps. This includes details such as the chart type, axes, and aggregated data.
• Therefore, an external Next.js/MCP client can inspect the assistant run steps and use the visualization specification to reconstruct the chart using its own visualization library.
• If your MCP client is only reading the final text response, make sure you are also inspecting the available run/step information.
• The current limitation is that Fabric does not render the interactive visual itself for external clients; the external client is responsible for rendering it from the specification.
• Also note that Fabric Data Agent visuals currently support up to 200 rows and a defined set of chart types.
