Download / Delete multiple notebooks at once

Hi Team,

How can we download / delete mutiple notebooks at once inside a fabric workspace.
As of now , when I select multiple notebooks , I just have the option to move the file/folder to a new location

    Hi skb16 ,

Thank you for posting in the Microsoft Fabric Community.

Currently, Microsoft Fabric does not support downloading or deleting multiple notebooks at once via the UI. The only available bulk action is moving them to a different location. However, you can achieve these tasks using alternative methods:

    • Downloading Multiple Notebooks: Use Visual Studio Code (VS Code) with the Microsoft Fabric Extension. By connecting to your workspace, you can manually download notebooks one by one. Learn more: Develop Notebooks in VS Code.
    • Deleting Multiple Notebooks: While the UI only allows deleting one at a time, you can use the Microsoft Fabric REST API to automate bulk deletion. By authenticating and running DELETE requests for each notebook, you can efficiently remove multiple notebooks. API details: Delete Notebook via API.
