Cannot create Fabric Trial

I am new to Fabric and I would like to create a Fabric trial to try it. However, the option is not enabled. What could I do?  Also, I try to create one lakehouse from myworkspace, however, I got e...

    Thanks all for the helping and provide me some useful links. I successfully enable Fabric trial this morning suddenly when I try to change the workspace type, although I did not do anything else.

Hi,

 

You cannot start a Fabric trial if:

  • You're using a personal Microsoft account instead of a work account or follow a different approach

you can try an alternative approach to reach the fabric trial :

step1 : From Azure portal open a free trial 

step2 : Open Microsoft Entra ID

step3: 

  • In Microsoft Entra ID, select:

    Manage → Users

  • Click + New user.
  • Choose Create new user for free trial like [email protected]

  • Note down:

    • User Principal Name (UPN)
    • Password

step 4 : Assign Global admin privlidge to user

step 5: Assign owner role to subscription

step6: Sign in to Azure portal with new user account

step7: Sign up to fabric site : app.fabric.microsoft.com with new user account
