  • Hi DougBrennerMDS ,

This issue usually happens when the Microsoft 365 tenant is too new. Microsoft currently blocks Fabric trial capacity creation for newly created tenants as a precaution.

    Here’s what you can do:

    1. Check tenant creation date
If your tenant was created recently (within the last few days), trial provisioning is likely restricted. You can confirm this with your IT admin or via Azure AD portal.

    2. Try from an older tenant
If you have access to another Microsoft 365 tenant that’s older, try enabling the Fabric trial there — it should work without issues.

    3. Contact Microsoft Support
If you must use this tenant, open a support ticket and include the Activity ID, Request ID, and Correlation ID from the error message. Microsoft can manually enable the trial for your tenant in some cases.

    4. Check Admin Portal settings
Go to Power BI Admin Portal > Tenant Settings > Microsoft Fabric, and make sure trial creation is allowed for your user group.

Let me know if you need help checking tenant age or drafting the support request.

    This is ridiculous.

I was trying yesterday like 3hrs thinking error is on my side, MS error just says "sorry we couldn't create trial capacity for you blah blah" - it's not informative at all, I had to dig through google to find out they've blocked this.

Also how I can learn for DP-700 now If I'm a private person without access to company email etc? The is NO  playground available for Fabric, joke!
