Bitbucket Support for Git Integration in Microsoft Fabric
Hi,
Fabric supports Git integration with Azure DevOps and GitHub. Since Bitbucket also uses Git, I want to know – does Microsoft Fabric support Bitbucket?
If not, is there any way to connect Bitbucket with Fabric?
Thanks!

Hi AkshaykumarK ,
Great question! As of now, Microsoft Fabric officially supports Git integration only with Azure DevOps and GitHub. Bitbucket, while also Git-based, is not natively supported for direct integration within Fabric.
Workaround Options:
If you still want to use Bitbucket, here are a couple of approaches you might consider:
- Manual Sync: You can manually export your .pbip files or other artifacts from Fabric and push them to Bitbucket using Git commands or a CI/CD pipeline.
- Intermediate GitHub Repo: Use GitHub as a bridge. Sync your Bitbucket repo with GitHub (via mirroring or automation), and then connect GitHub to Fabric.
Keep in mind that these workarounds require additional setup and maintenance, and may not offer the same seamless experience as native integrations.
For updates on supported Git providers, you can follow the official documentation here:
