Authentication error with Fabric App
Hi Aparnaa_MS,
Thank you for sending through the extra details.
Since the same behavior is happening on both office and personal networks, and VPN issues have already been ruled out, this does not appear to be a general network connectivity problem. One point worth noting is the Node.js version you are using (v24.13.1), which is newer than the versions most CLI tools are typically tested against.
Please try an LTS version of Node.js, such as v22.x or v20.x, then reinstall Rayfin CLI and run rayfin login again. That should help confirm whether the issue is related to compatibility between the CLI and the Node.js runtime.
While your IT team looks into any possible proxy or firewall restrictions, it may also be worth checking whether security software is intercepting or blocking authentication requests to Microsoft Entra ID endpoints.
Please let us know whether testing with an LTS Node.js version changes the behavior.
Thank you and continue using Microsoft Fabric Community Forum.
