Microsoft EmployeeAuthenticate to lakehouse using notebook using workspace identity
we have sql endpoint for the lakehouse our workspace identity is added as user in lakehouse of source team, unsure of workspaceid or name, want to connect to it in fabric notebook. Please help
yeah we got access Security Group and able to access with it, thanks

Hello SravyaNeela
A Workspace Identity is designed to let Fabric items authenticate to external data sources or perform operations without user credentials or stored secrets. It is not used for OneLake‑internal shortcuts (workspace1/lakehouse1 - workspace2/lakehouse2).You can connect to an external Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 resource either directly in a Notebook using Add Connection or via Manage Connection and Gateways.Heres' a blog that tells you more about Workspace Identity:
