Error while Trying to connect Fabric Warehouse

Hi all,

I have been trying to connect to Fabric Warehouse but it always give me this error message. I could not find the exact same error in this community, with exact same error of "(provider: SSL Provider, error: 0 - The specified network name is no longer available.)". If someone can tell me what does "network name" here refer to? I am so confused as I use both my PBI Desktop and the service with my work email. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

    Hi ilalang_pertiwi

By default the block outbound and inbound workspace settings are disabled, so those shouldn't be the problem.

Are you having this issue with one sepcific warehouse, or every wharehouse you try to connect to?

what auth method are you using when connecting? To connect, you need to use Microsoft Entra MFA

Hi, I use my microsoft account. What do you mean by Microsoft Entra MFA? I was not given any option for that when I tried to connect to the Warehouse. If you mean the MFA in general for my microsoft account, then yes I have used that.

        Hi ilalang_pertiwi

What tool are you connecting with? If you're trying to connect with SSMS, that's where you will see the Microsoft Entra MFA:

In Power BI Desktop, if you connect using the Azure SQL database connector and the SQL Endpoint, the Microsoft account selection should be enough as long as you have permissions on the warehouse.

In Power BI Desktop, you can also use the Onelake Catalog button to connect to the warehouse and create a directlake semantic model.
