  • Hi Dionah

A 404 from Power BI Desktop usually means Desktop is trying to reach a Lakehouse URL or SQL endpoint that doesn’t exist for your account, or isn’t exposed the way you’re connecting. The most common causes are using the wrong connector, an outdated Desktop build, or missing permissions on the Lakehouse’s semantic model or SQL endpoint.

How are you tryung to connect, over SQL Endpoint or directly through OneLake?

What verison of PowerBI Desktop are you using?

      Hi Dionah

Can you try updating to Aguust 2025 version of PowerBI Desttop and try again? Your version is quite old.
