Data Warehouse Drop Column
I unfortunately made a mistake with the data type of a few columns in a warehouse I created.
I want to simply change the data type of said columns but it looks like that isn't supported yet.
So I thought I would just drop the columns and create them again but it also appears that this is not supported yet.
Is the only solution to this really to drop the table and recreate it? Am I misunderstanding the linked documentation?
Huge seems like a huge limitation if so.

The below blog provides explict details w.r.t alter table scenarios that are supported as of today in fabric warehouse and the limitations :

Unfortunately , you would have to create a new table, sync the data to new table and drop the old table as the easy way around

Unfortunately, I suspected something like this. Thank you!
I also found a work around by remaking the columns with ADD COLUMN and just appending "_corrected" to the column name, then renaming it in a view. Not ideal but got the job done.
