Capacity for warehouse increased abnormal
Dear community, I am managing the capacity of Microsoft Fabric, before 11/08/2026, our system was operating normally, with item kind Warehouse wh_silver is take about 500 000 CU(s) with duration ~ 9...
The fact that all Warehouse items changed around the same date, while the workload duration stayed roughly the same, makes a Fabric service-side change worth investigating.
I'd compare the CU consumption by individual queries/operations before and after 11/08/2026 using the Fabric Capacity Metrics app. That should help identify whether the extra consumption is coming from a specific workload or from a change in Warehouse execution itself.
If the increase is consistent across all warehouses, I'd open a Microsoft support ticket with the before/after metrics and capacity details. That should also confirm whether there was a recent service change or known issue.
