I ran into an issue where I was using a Fabric deployment pipeline to deploying a lakekehouse from one workspace to another. This was meant as a temporary copy/migration method, so after it completed...
It appears that there's an auto-cleanup process running in the background because after 2-3 days of waiting the orphaned lakehouse disappears. I've done this twice now for good measure.
