The replies above give a good learning path, and I would add two Fabric specific things. Look at semantic link in notebooks, which lets you read Power BI semantic models directly into a DataFrame, so you can combine what you learn in data science with business data that already has measures and relationships defined. Also try the sample notebooks in the Data Science experience, because they come with data and working code you can run, change and break while you learn. Both are low cost ways to get hands on before you build your own project.
