Data Science Notebook on Fabric

Please someone should help me so that my notebook creation on my workspace on Microsoft fabric can come through.

      Hi Prashanth,

       

      Thanks for your swift response.

      I am trying to learn Microsoft Fabric, and trying to get some hands-on experience from the technical part.

      I was directed to create a workspace, which I did, and was asked to create a Notebook under the Data Science track so I can run python codes and explore it and also learn how to train and test model, but it's not working.

      Was thinking I could do all those with my trial fabric account as that was the reason I created the account in the first place.

       

      Please any advice on what to do to be able to carryout the practical part of fabric on Microsoft Fabric will be appreciated.

        Hi Anonymous,

         

        There are two types of trials:

        1. Power BI Pro trial – not enough for notebooks and advanced Fabric features.

        2. Fabric Trial (aka Premium Per User Trial) – this is what you need.

        To enable Fabric Trial:

        • In the Fabric portal, click your profile picture (top-right corner).

        • Click Start trial or Manage account → look for Fabric (Trial) or Premium per User.

        • Make sure the trial is active. If not, start it here.

    Hi Prashanth,

     

    I tried your suggestion, but it still didn't work. It's so frustrating as I can carry out hands on from my learnings on Microsoft learn.

     

    I don't know if any approval needs to come from the administrator of fabrics end.

     

    I will appreciate your assistance greatly
