Scheduling a User Data Functions item directly fails every time with "FunctionName is null or empty"
Hi ShivekMaharaj, I've just retried the 4 steps you asked, but the error is the same. Even when manually triggering the schedule.

One of the errors from the Monitor tab run list:

},

Hi alessanzo ,
Thanks for the detailed testing. Based on the results, this looks like a Fabric UDF item-level scheduling issue, not a problem with the function itself.
The key indicators are that the function works manually and through the Pipeline Functions activity, while the native schedule shows Function name = -- and fails with Function Name is null or empty.
I would suggest using the Pipeline Functions activity as the workaround for now, explicitly selecting the function and scheduling the pipeline.
I’d also suggest you to report this with Microsoft support team .
Thanks!!
