Power BI linked to OneLake catalog

 Are you able to provide some more information please?
Do you receive an error message?
Do the tables have data once available in Power BI?

What level of permission do you have on those tables (Workspace access or item level?)

1. Do you use Power BI Desktop?
2. Do you want to use Power BI in the Power BI service

Here’s what I would do if I needed to get things done quickly.

You can do it in Fabric.

First, create a semantic model.
To do this, go to the Lakehouse and select “New Semantic Model.”

Here the first Screenshot:

There, you can select your tables, then open the semantic model and perform your calculations.
You can then create a new report based on the semantic model. See screenshot two.

But there are other ways.

This is expected when connecting to Lakehouse tables via the Microsoft Fabric OneLake catalog in Power BI.

The catalog exposes tables, but it does not automatically create a semantic model (dataset), which is required to build visuals.

Fix:
Create a semantic model from the Lakehouse (New semantic model), or connect via the SQL endpoint, and ensure you have Build permission.

Summary:
No semantic model = no visuals. Create or connect to one to resolve the issue.
