Iceberg format support in Fabric
Hi chetanhiwale
Yes, in the current implementation, if you want to use Iceberg tables as a source, they need to be stored in ADLS Gen2. If the Iceberg table is in OneLake, it cannot yet be directly used as a source in the Copy Activity for all destinations. If this post helps, then please consider Accepting it as the solution or give kudos to help the other members find it more quickly.

Note: Microsoft may expand this functionality to support OneLake as a source for copying Iceberg table data to other destinations.
Hi chetanhiwale
Welcome to the Microsoft Fabric Community forum.
Fabric supports ADLS Gen2 as the destination for copying Iceberg tables.
While oneLake supports Iceberg table storage, copying data from Iceberg tables in OneLake to other destinations via pipelines is currently not explicitly supported.

Note: Keep an eye on Microsoft's future updates, as additional destinations may be rolled out.
