Database has already been mirrored" Error Persists After Deleting Mirror
I deleted a Fabric mirror from one workspace to recreate it in another workspace, but I'm still getting the error "The database has already been mirrored on another Fabric warehouse" when trying to create the new mirror.
Steps:
- Had mirror of Managed Azure SQL DB in Workspace A
- Deleted mirror from Workspace A
- Attempted to create new mirror in Workspace B
- Error persists: "The database has already been mirrored"
Question: Is there a cleanup/propagation delay after deleting a mirror? How long should I wait before the database is available to mirror again?
After about 2 hours i was able to create the new mirror.
It was a stressful 2 hours but maybe someone in the future reading this will know they just got to wait a bit for fabric to do its thing and release its locks.
